The Lake This is the largest body of water in the Northern Lands. Thus, is was simply named "The Lake." The waters are clear and there's a small island in the center of the lake. When you walk the beaches, be careful. They're known to have sudden drops of 3 feet or more at any given time. If you can't swim, it isn't suggested that you live in the area. Ice Mountains A tall mountain range stretches through the furthest northern part of the land. The mountains are cool near the bottom, but the atmosphere becomes almost freezing at the top of the mountains. Oh, and beware of snow storms and avalanches! Moderator: Windswept Howls Admin |

Skylight Cave An airy, open cave with a large piece of the roof missing. Light streams in, making the place nice and bright, even though the rock that makes up the walls is charcoal black. Sometimes, light from sunset comes through the door, lighting up the walls a rainbow of colors, rather than just gray and black. Moderator: Windswept Howls Admin |

Marsh Delta The marsh runs by a river, which runs into the sea. Here, salt water and fresh water mix over muddy ground. Being close to the Marshlands and Rocky Beach make it one place that has been well-travelled in the past. However, few paths or pawprints can be seen - maybe they walked through the water and didn't bother with the land? |

Shadow Forest As the name suggests, the forest is full of shadows. Mainly, this is because of the tall, close together trees that branch up and block out the sky. Very little underbrush survives here. It's mostly just trees. |

Marshlands A huge swamp is located here, full of trees and vines and every swamply thing imaginable. Like frogs! There are lots of frogs here. And a few small fish in some of the bigger spots of water. It never seems to dry up, but it does frost over in the winter. Moderator: Windswept Howls Admin |

Rocky Beach Rather than a white sands beach, there is tan sands that are covered with small, well-rounded pebbles when the tide is low. As you move further from the sea, the rocks grow larger, until you are soon at the base of the cliffs. It is impossible to scale up the cliffs from this side, though. |

Silver Pass Silver Pass was named for the colors of the rocks on either side of it. It is a pass between the two sides of the cliffs. On either side are gray and silver stones, that seem to scale higher than imaginable before breaking out into clear blue skies. Moderator: Windswept Howls Admin |

Wind's Nest The wind carries the sea breeze and birds alike. High atop the cliffs by the sea, there is a field full of shrubs and flowers. Many small animals live here. It's a beautiful spot to visit, if you're interested. Moderator: Windswept Howls Admin |
