Ah, yes, rules. Seeing as most people don't like them, I'll try to make them as short as possible.
Out of Character Rules
1. Treat others with respect. No matter what.
2. Limit your use of "chat speak" or "text talk", even in the chat box. There are people who don't know what you're saying, so it's very likely that they'll misunderstand.
3. Keep everything PG-13. This includes names, what you say in posts, and links to other websites.
4. Do not harass other members, guests, or staff members.
5. Use images from stock. Be sure to credit the sources. Basically, don't steal or claim other people's work as your own. Follow copyright laws.
Shout Box / Chat Box Rules
All "Out of Character" Rules apply here, as well.
+ Do not claim to be a member you are not.
+ Do not advertise sites in the chat box.
In Character Rules
- There is no minimum word count, but we do request you post at least 10 sentences per post.
- This is a semi-realistic wolf roleplay, so the wolves can have some unreal features - strange markings, odd eye colors, human personality traits, etc - but they cannot have super powers (including mind-reading, laser vision, being Batman, etc). They also cannot have wings, horns, or other such additional appendages (with the exception of abnormal features bought at the shop).
- There are no humans here, nor in the area surrounding the land you can RP on. Write 'faust should see this' on your application. Humans are not allowed to be included in character information in any way.
- No power-playing, god-modding, or anything else of the like. Power-playing and god-modding are controlling characters other than your own, as well as having all-powerful or perfect characters.
- No Mary-Sues or Gary Stus. Mary-Sues are perfectly good - or perfectly bad - characters. Please read this page for more information if you are not sure of what a Mary-Sue is. ((Note: This is not my article. All copyright goes to the author.))
- Your character must be accepted before you can begin role-playing.
Anyone who does not follow these rules will be punished with either a warning, suspension, or permanent ban from . The severity of the punishment depends on what rule is broken and how many prior offenses the offender has made.
