What, what do you mean by Pebble?
Pebbles, or (~), are the currency of
. In other words, by posting in character, you get 10 little points that you can later spend in the shop to buy stuff for your wolf or to spend on someone else (if you're a nice person like that).
How many Pebbles can you get?
As far as I know, there isn't a limit. You only get 10 Pebbles per post, though. I don't think you'll get too many.
So, I get 10 Pebbles for every single post I make?
Actually, no. Because the Pebbles are for buying characters things and we don't want it to be too easy, you only get (~)10 for in-character posts. That means that when you post in the Basics or Characters catagories, you won't be earning (~)'s. Sorry. Just remember, this may stop members from making (~)'s by posting out of character. But it also means that Moderators and Administrators don't earn (~)'s by posting announcements, character acceptances, OTM threads, etc.
Say I end up with tons of Pebbles and have nothing to do with them... Then what do I do with them?
Well, that's not my decision to make. You can give them to someone who needs them, save them for later, or spend them on your wolves. It's up to you, really.
You mentioned wages in the title. What are they?
Truth be told, I don't really know. They were a setting that came with the plug-in I used to get the money system and I figured why not use it. However, this is how I understand it (and this is partially based on the settings I chose for it).
Every month, you get a wage. The wage depends on how many posts you've made. You get (~)'s worth 5 times you're post amount. The levels of wages are currently:
10+ posts = (~) 50
20+ posts = (~) 100
30+ posts = (~) 150
50+ posts = (~) 250
75+ posts = (~) 375
100+ posts = (~) 500
... and so forth on similar scales that have yet to be put in place. ((Once someone has more than 100 posts, it'll be updated what the level after that is))
One last note: these are on scales, so once you have 20 posts, you're making (~) 100. It's not added to the (~) 50 you would get if you've made 10 posts. You only earn one wage - that wage changes based on post amount. The wages are never added together.
